Abbie's Birthday- Part 1

We managed a birthday party with balloons, cake, and even a quick family pick amidst the sea of boxes!

Abbie's birthday is always an adventure being so close to Christmas... but this year has been CRAZY! Trying to move, we celebrated her actual birthday unloading the U-Haul! Luckily, GP had come to town to help with the move and he took Abbie and Evan to Incredible Pizza. I'm not sure what was more tiring... unloading the truck or two kids at Incredible Pizza...? Anyhow, we pulled it off and I think she had a great time! Her birthday was also celebrated again over the weekend with Nana and Papa. Those pics will follow! Thank you GP for helping with the move, but also for helping us celebrate Abbie's birthday so that she was able to enjoy it too! =)

The Sweetest Thing...

Evan loves his "step-dad"! He talks about Kris all of the time! We are all so lucky to have such a sweet man in our lives!

Abbie's girlfriends threw her a surprise birthday / going away party on Sunday! They decorated cookies, made picture frames, and Christmas crafts! Ms. Adrienne even made hot cocoa and turned on the movie Rudolph to top off this holiday party! Abbie was so surprised and loved opening gifts from all of her sweet friends! Thank you to Kaitlyn and Adrienne for hosting this party for Abbie... she loved it!

I have so many random pics of the kiddos from the past few months... I thought I'd share a few of my favorites!

Santa's Wonderland!

We took our first family road trip to Nana and Papa's house in Texas for Thanksgiving this year! The kids all had a great time, and their Mommy and Daddy enjoyed having everyone together for our first holiday as a family! While we were there, Nana and Papa took us to Santa's Wonderland. The kids got to sit with Santa and give him their wish lists, play in "snow", drink hot cocoa and watch "The Polar Express" on an outside movie screen, dance with "Elvis", and my favorite... take a hayride through millions of Christmas lights and displays strung throughout the woods! Thank you for everything Nana and Papa... it was a holiday we will NEVER forget!

Our Wedding

Kris and I could not have asked for a better wedding weekend away with family and friends. We were married November 8, 2008 at Grotto Spring in Eureka Springs. We met in Eureka Springs, so it only seemed fitting to go back there to get married. We know how lucky we are to have found each other and are ecstatic about spending the rest of our lives together raising our family!
